Teens Are Going Green

by jaclyn

Long before Zac Efron rode in an eco limo, before Hayden Panetttiere wanted to save the Dolphins, Ally Maize-founder of the Green Youth Movement was trying to help teens go green. It certainly doesn't hurt now that stars Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Emma Watson have started driving hybrid cars which helps reinforce Ally's message

Ally is passionate about the environment and taking a stance towards global warming. She founded the Green Youth Movement as both a "resource for people seeking information and for those people who want to try to make a difference and help the environment."

Just this past weekend, Ally and the Green Youth Movement held a waterless car wash to raise funds for their highschool. And they aren't stopping there. Future events include a green fashion show and green halloween event.
